InFeCtuS 2

The Infectus is the first versatile mod chip ever released in the market. As it was created to work with different console the Infectious will give you access to a multitude of function . This mod chip was created as an open project using a reprogrammable CORE with an in-board 512 kb FLASH memory and a USB interface for a PC communication.
 The hardware has a high quality component design. It is composed of the new ACTEL ProASIC3 FAMILY. It is the successor of the older generation like the APA075 used in the past in many PS2 project.

Its 512Kb parallel flash is the SSTSF040 which has a high transfer rate and performance. It also uses the REAL USB 2.0 processor. This high quality component can manage the communication between ACTEL and a PC through a mini USB connector.
Every part of the PLD/FLASH/USB chip is 100% reprogrammable via USB, from DATA to the complete SOURCE CODE.
  - For security reasons, the applications stored in the flash are AES 128-bit encrypted, to protect our work against certain Asian market such as the one in China
 - The project is produced in Europe with the last technology of BSDL testing.

The Infectus is so versatile that it can support the Xbox 360, the PS2, the PS3 and the Wii

For the 360:
* TIME ATTACK X360 CPU + DOWNGRADE DASHBOARD (a lower add on is needed)
* It permits a gain a greater access to the reader of the XBOX360 , In certain reading mod it is possible to read and write the internal flash memory of certain DVD369  out in the market.
* Complete support for the BENQ reader.
* GLOBE MODCHIP 360 works as an emulator and also include a ON / OFF LED.

For the PS3:
* It is possible to access directly the Flash BIOS through the USB of the PS3. This technique minimise the danger of damaging the firmware. It brings the possibility of installing almost anything as no update and patches should be needed to synchronise the firmware versions and the hardware.
For the PS2 :
